The Myth, The Woman, The Legend...
The infamous Cheri Browne has been in my life as long as I can honestly remember. Growing up, I spent many hot summer days in the Browne's pool, or trading clothes and hanging out with my friend Brielle :) When I think about growing up in Enfield, Cheri was always part of those memories.
She told my mom that if you feed your childrens' friends, they will always be more honest with you. My mom took this theory, turned it into a lifestyle, and ran with it. My mom constantly fed my teenage friends, and both of my brothers' teenage friends every time they came over. Till this day, my friends will always trust and care about my mom because she fed them well. Cheri's advice stood strong in the Jasminski household.
One fond memory I have of Cheri is when I went to Enfield to visit family and friends and I surprised Cheri in her office. She hadn't seen me in a few years, but when she did see me, she instantly looked shocked and yelled out, "Oh my God, you look exactly like your motha!" I laughed, but she was 100% correct.
I am so grateful that Cheri was a part of my life, she always brought laughter and good times to the table.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Browne family!!!
Lots of Love,
Amanda Jasminski
