Elaine A. (Kaleta) Shaughnessy, 77, of Boscawen, NH, entered into eternal rest on Thursday (May 22, 2014) at Merrimack County Nursing Home. Elaine was born on June 4, 1936 in Springfield, MA, the daughter of the late John and Helen (Kades) Kaleta. She had resided in New Hampshire for 25 years, and prior to that in Enfield for many years and Suffield. Before retiring in 1989 Elaine was employed for many years with Blue Cross Blue Shield. She was a volunteer at the Enfield Senior Citizen Center and a member of St. Adalbert Church.
Elaine is survived by her children; Janine Turner of Concord, NH, Mark Humphries & wife Ellen of E. Windsor, Bruce Humphries & wife Sally of Stafford, VA, Linda Brosseau & husband Danny of Concord, NH and Richard Caines & wife Gail of Manchester, NH, her 7 beloved grandchildren; Sarah, Emily, Brittany, Zachery, Brianna, Mariah and Bailee, her cherished great grandson Joey. She is also survived by a brother Gilbert Brassard & wife Carolyn of Baton Rouge, LA and a sister Barbara Grimaldi of Somers, CT, along with many nieces and nephews.
Elaine’s family will receive relatives and friend during calling hours on Friday (May 30, 2014) from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday (May 31, 2014) with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Adalbert Church 90 Alden Ave. Enfield (Please go directly to church). Interment will be private in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Enfield.
