SOUTH WINDSOR - James E. Keegan, 54, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 12, 2019 at home. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, where he lived for twelve years, then moved to New Jersey, finally settling in Connecticut. James was a self-employed carpenter for thirty-nine years. He was predeceased by his father, George V. Keegan. He leaves his mother, Josephine (DiPasquale) Keegan of Enfield, a brother, Michael Keegan of Westfield, MA, a sister, Laura Keegan Kapocsi of Enfield, four nieces, Robyn Keegan, Crystal Kapocsi, Deanna Kapocsi, and Jovanno Kapocsi, along with three great-nephews, Jason Hunt, Tyler Hunt and Michael Kapocsi. The funeral will be Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 1pm at the Browne Memorial Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, followed by burial in Hazardville Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service on Thursday at the funeral home from 11am - 1pm.
