Gloria L. (Parent) Adams, 90, of Enfield, CT and more recently of Longmeadow, MA, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 3, 2019. She was the beloved wife of 42 years to the late Earl L. Adams. Gloria was born on September 21, 1928 in Agawam, MA to the late Elton and Henrietta “Etta” (Potter) Parent. She was a graduate of West Springfield High School Class of 1946. Gloria has resided in Enfield for 35 years and in Agawam before that. Prior to retirement she was employed as an Administrative Assistant with Westfield Bank. She enjoyed spending time with her family, loved playing bingo, knitting and gardening.
Gloria is survived by a daughter Cindy Fiore & husband Sam of Enfield and a son Glenn Adams & wife Corinne of Somers, three grandchildren Lisa Brainerd & husband Larry of Blandford MA, Brian Francis & wife Meghan of Charlton, MA, and Heather Root & husband Derek of Springfield, MA, six great-grandchildren Conner, Bradley, Olivia, David, Charlotte and Penelope. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Enfield Street Cemetery, Enfield.
